Trolltunga Hotel

Trolltunga Hotel in Odda is the partner hotel of Trolltunga Active – a beautiful villa building built in 1928. The hotel was carefully renovated in 2017, and even more expanded in 2021 with more rooms, and a much larger restaurant focusing on the view, beautiful interior, on local products and providing an amazing culinary experience! Our goal is for our adventure seeking guests to fully rest and recharge batteries while witnessing the breathtaking nature that surrounds the hotel.

Apothekergaarden Guesthouse is located in Odda Centre, just behind Hardanger Hotel. There are also many hiking opportunities with well-marked trails in and around Odda.

Bakkegata – the Blue House

“Bakkegata – The Blue House” is a stunning 100-year-old Art Nouveau house located right in the centre of Odda. In 2019 it was completely renovated, and now combines the exquisite beauty of the old design with modern conveniences such as lifts, Wi-Fi, and every other comfort.

Woodnest Odda Treehouse

Nestled in a warm luxury treehouse, at Woodnest, you will gaze out over the magnificent Hardanger fjord. With panoramic views of snow capped mountains, relax and watch the sunset, put your feet up and rest in the nest.
At Woodnest, there are two Treehouses, each having capacity for 4 persons. Inside you will find a double bed and two single beds. The treehouses are situated in the Norwegian woods overlooking the Hardanger fjord, in the beautiful town of Odda.

Trolltunga camping is situated between to national parks. Surrounded by beautiful nature, quiet water, high mountains with peaks covered in snow, impressive waterfalls and a glacier, all within a few kilometres from the camping ground!

Camp Lothepus

Camp Lothepus is a caravan camp by the fjord in Odda. Camp Lothepus is situated by the Sørfjord, on “the tip” of Odda. You can enjoy the view of the mountains and fjord, fish og take a stroll into the city centre. Nearby attractions are not far away, like Trolltunga, Buerbreen glacier and “the valley of waterfalls”.

The apartment hotel Trolltunga Guesthouse is situated 6 km from the starting point of the hike to Trolltunga. Stana gard

Stana gard is situated by the Hardangerfjord at Stana, 3 km from Tyssedal and 9 km from the centre of Odda. There are 2 holiday houses, both with a panoramic view of the fjord, waterfalls and the Folgefonna glacier. Both houses are fully equipped and have nice patio areas with furniture and barbeque grills. The garden around the houses has fruit trees. Down by the fjord there is a quay and a boat available for guests. Stana gard is 9 km from Skjeggedal, the starting point for hiking to Trolltunga.

Hildal Camping

Hildal Camping is situated by E16 close to Storelva river (not far from E134) about 10 km from the centre of Odda. Here you will find 6 simple cabins and a large area for tents and caravans.

Sundal Camping

Sundal Camping is situated in the beautiful Maurangerfjord, a part of the Hardangerfjord. The campsite is located on the shore of the fjord in Sunndal with views towards the Bondhus glacier, the Bondhus valley and the fjord. Cabins are available in different sizes, from 20 square meters to 64 square meters. There are 60 lots available for campervans, caravans and tents. There is also a guest harbour. From 2018 there is a separate parking place by the fjord near the camp site for campervans. On the camp site there are 3 sanitation facilities, kiosk, common rooms, barbeque area, playground and a bathing place.

Sundal Camping is a good starting point for experiences on the fjord and in the mountains. You can walk to the Bondhus valley and the Bondhus glacier. Canoes and boats with outboard engines for rent. Good fishing possibilities in the river and in the sea. The guests at Sundal Camping can also visit a farm with cows, sheep and a farm museum.

Saltvold Camping is situated in the middle of Røldal. You will find us just before you get to Røldal stave church. Open year around. 12 rooms/ cabins. Good capasity. 80 electricity outlets. Winterinsulated cabins. Renovated sanitary facilities.

Seim Camping

Seim camping is located at Seim farm by the shore of Røldalsvatnet lake. The campsite is in quiet and family friendly surroundings, with a lovely view of the lake and the mountains. The campsite has its own swimming and fishing place, a 100 meters walking distance from the site.

At Seim Camping we have three modern and well equipped cabins, build in 2006, for allyear rental, and four smaller and simple cabins for rental during the summer.

Skysstasjonen Cabins/ Camping

Røldal is a mountain hamlet, 400 metres above sea-level. From here you can hike and fish in the mountains or fish in the Røldalsvatnet lake. There are as many as four fjords to choose between, all within 45 km.: the Saudafjord, Hardangerfjord, Åkrafjord and Hyllsfjord.

Hotel Ullensvang

Hotel Ullensvang is a first class hotel, owned by the same family in 5 generations throughout more than 160 years. Located in beautiful surroundings in Lofthus and in Norway’s largest fruit orchard, Hardanger. The blossoming period is one of the most stunning periods, lasting from approximately mid May until mid June. The hotel is situated directly by the fjord, with a view over the Hardangerfjord and Folgefonna glacier. Also a good starting point for tours to Trolltunga.

First Hotel Kinsarvik

Utne Hotel

Utne Hotel is one Norway’s oldest hotel in continual operation, licensed since 1722. It was founded in 1722 by Sergeant Børsem, who was granted permission by King Christian VII to operate an inn as partial payment after the great Scandinavian War. His family took over operations in 1787, running the hotel up until the end of 1995. Torbjørg Utne (1812 – 1903), known as “Mother Utne”, gave the hotel the distinctive character it has today.

Hardanger House

Hardanger House in Jondal is a new hotel with the Hardangerfjord, Folgefonna glacier and majestic mountains as the nearest neighbor. The design hotel has nine rooms – all with furnished terraces and beautiful views of the fjord.

Hardanger House and Jondal are a good starting point for activities in the region throughout the year.
